Influencer marketing calculators
Small, exact tools for the arithmetic that comes up when you are choosing creators. No signup, no email wall, and no email required to see the answer. Each one runs entirely in your browser, so nothing you type is sent anywhere or stored.
Instagram engagement rate calculator
(likes + comments) ÷ followers × 100
Rate by followers, which is the version you can compute for a creator you have never worked with, because every input is public. The page covers the second formula too, and when to use which.

(likes + comments + shares) ÷ views × 100
Rate by views, because TikTok decides distribution and follower count barely enters into it. Shares are in the numerator because they are the interaction that creates new reach.

- The formula is on the page
- Every calculator shows its arithmetic with your numbers in it, not just the answer. Engagement rate has at least two definitions in common use on each platform and they produce different numbers from the same post, so a tool that hands back a percentage without saying which one it computed has told you almost nothing. If you disagree with the formula, you can see that you disagree with it.
- No benchmark table we cannot source
- Most calculators in this category print a “good engagement rate is X to Y” band next to your result. We do not. The published tables disagree with each other by multiples, most do not state whether they divided by followers or by reach, and most carry no date. Reprinting one would make it the only thing on the page that could be wrong. Each tool explains how to build a benchmark from your own shortlist instead, which takes about ten minutes and is measured on the exact people you are choosing between.
What these will not do
They compute one post at a time from numbers you type. They do not look anything up, so they cannot fetch a creator's posts for you, and they cannot see saves, shares on Instagram, reach, or watch time, because those are private to the account owner on both platforms. A public engagement rate is a floor, not a measurement of everything that happened.
They also will not tell you what a creator is worth. Rate benchmarking needs deal data rather than engagement data, and honest bands need more real transactions than we are willing to extrapolate from today. When that changes, a rate calculator will appear here with its sample size printed on it.
When the hand tools stop scaling
A calculator is the right shape for one creator you are curious about. It stops being the right shape at roughly the point where you are doing the same arithmetic across a shortlist of forty, over a dozen posts each, and pasting the results into a spreadsheet that is stale by the time you finish it.
That is the job Cheerful's creator discovery does as part of the search, and post tracking keeps doing after the campaign is live. The tools on this page stay free and stay here either way.
