How to read a creator's numbers
- Compare inside a size band. Engagement falls with reach for structural reasons, so ranking creators of different sizes on it is close to ranking them by smallness.
- Read the quartile, not the median. The spread inside one band is wider than the gap between bands.
- Check the sample size. A rate computed over three posts is noise. Every figure on these pages says how many posts it averaged and when.

- How are these creator lists put together?
- Every list is assembled from Cheerful's index of 1.26M Instagram accounts and then checked by a person before it publishes. Each listed creator's follower count, median likes and comments, engagement rate, reels share and days since last post are fetched live and dated on the page. A list does not publish below 10 members.
- What counts as a good engagement rate for a creator on these lists?
- It depends far more on the account than on its size. Across 5,924 accounts we measured, the median is 2.6% at 1K–10K and 0.94% at 100K–500K — but the middle half of the smallest band alone spans 1.12% to 5.6%, a wider gap than between any two adjacent bands. Each list shows where its creators sit against their own band.
- Are these creators available to work with?
- They are public Instagram accounts we measured, not a booked roster. Nobody on these pages has agreed to anything in advance. Cheerful handles the outreach, the negotiation and the logistics once you pick someone.
- What is a media kit page here?
- A shareable summary of one creator's public profile — followers, measured engagement with its method and date, recent posts, and where the account sits against comparable accounts. There are 104 of them. They are deliberately excluded from search results; they exist to be sent to a brand, not to compete for a search.
- How do I get a page removed?
- Use the removal link on any creator page, or email privacy@cheerful.ai with the handle. We take the page down within 48 hours, no account and no reason required.
