How to connect Notion to Cheerful

Setup takes 4 steps. Connected apps are added from the app catalogue in Settings.

   In Cheerful, open Settings, go to Integrations and search the catalogue for Notion.

   Sign in to Notion and choose which pages and databases Cheerful may access on Notion’s consent screen. The agent can only see what you share there.

   In the chat that opens, name the database to use and which column holds which fact.

   Automations are set up in chat on a campaign. They run when a creator opts in, replies or is added to the campaign, or on a schedule, and the agent tests each one on a real creator thread before you switch it on.

Does Cheerful integrate with Notion?

Yes, as a connected app. Cheerful’s agent can insert and update rows in a Notion database, search and create pages, and append content, within the pages you share with it.

Should I use Notion or Google Sheets for campaign tracking?

Google Sheets and Airtable have a native sync that fills each creator’s row from their email thread automatically. Notion works through the agent and automations, which is flexible but less hands-off.

What can Cheerful see in my Notion workspace?

Only the pages and databases you choose on Notion’s consent screen when you connect. Everything else stays invisible to the agent.

Do changes in Notion update Cheerful?

No. The agent writes to Notion. Creators added in Notion are not pulled into Cheerful campaigns; upload a CSV for that.
