  Send contract appears under Actions in the inbox, so the agreement goes out minutes after the rate is agreed, not after a handoff to legal ops.

How to connect SignWell to Cheerful

Setup takes 3 steps. SignWell is built into Cheerful, so there is nothing extra to install on the Cheerful side.

   In SignWell, create an API key and a contract template with a signer role for the creator.

   In Cheerful, open Settings, go to Integrations, choose SignWell, paste the key, pick the template and the creator role.

   Open a creator’s thread and use Send contract under Actions.

Cheerful and SignWell: common questions

Does Cheerful have e-signature?

Yes, through SignWell. Contracts are sent from the inbox using your SignWell template and signed by the creator on their Cheerful collaboration page.

Can I use DocuSign instead?

Yes, as a connected app. Cheerful’s agent can send envelopes from your DocuSign templates; signing then happens in DocuSign rather than on the collaboration page.

Do I need my own SignWell account?

Yes. The integration uses your SignWell API key and a contract template with a signer role for the creator.

Can I use different contract templates?

One template is set in Settings at a time. For a different contract type, switch the template there.

Is the SignWell integration free?

It is part of Cheerful, which is free to start. Your SignWell plan is separate.
